KPK Ultimatum For Lecturer Of Udayana University Who Dismissed From Examination

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the parties summoned in the alleged bribery case to administer the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) of Tabanan Regency, Bali to cooperate in responding to the summons.

This was conveyed after investigators sent a second summons to a witness named I Dewa Nyoman Wiratmaja who is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University.

"The investigative team will schedule a second summons for witness I Dewa Nyoman Wiratmaja, ASN or a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University on Friday, November 5 at the KPK Building, Red and White," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Wednesday, November 3rd.

He reminded Nyoman to cooperate in fulfilling the call. Moreover, this was the second summons.

"KPK urges the person concerned to comply with the summons and cooperate to attend," said Ali.

As previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has admitted that it is conducting an investigation related to alleged criminal acts related to the process of administering incentive funds in Tabanan Regency, Bali.

Investigators have even conducted searches in a number of locations such as the PUPR office, Bappelitbang, Tabanan Regional Finance Agency, DPRD, as well as the residences of parties related to the case.

Although it has admitted that it is investigating the alleged bribery, the Corruption Eradication Commission has not explained the suspects and the modus operandi. The complete information on the results of this investigation will be conveyed in its entirety if there is sufficient evidence and coercive efforts in the form of detention are carried out.
