Young Woman Found Dead In Pancoran Area Apartment Toilet

JAKARTA - Nabila Mira Miranda (24) was found dead in the toilet room of the Lavenue Apartment, Jalan Raya Pasar Minggu, Pancoran District, South Jakarta.

The victim was first discovered by a friend who came to the apartment unit. When found, the victim was dead in the toilet room of the apartment.

Pancoran police chief Kompol Rudiyanto confirmed the discovery of the body. They are still investigating the cause of the young woman's death.

"It's still being investigated," he told reporters, Tuesday, November 2.

According to information, Nabila has not come to work since Monday 1 November. His co-worker came to Nabila's apartment, and coincidentally the apartment door was not locked. It was then that it was discovered that the young woman was dead.

Separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pancoran Police, Iptu Abdullah, said that until now the Pancoran Police were still investigating. From the scene of the incident, the police found a number of drugs from the location.

"We found drugs. The medicine is Panadol and ulcer medicine. What is clear is that in the bathroom there are drugs. We haven't confirmed it was a suicide. To confirm it is the post-mortem," he said.

Police are still investigating the cause of death. The victim's body was then sent to Fatmawati Hospital and taken to his hometown in Padang, West Sumatra. The case is still being handled by the Pancoran Police.
