JAKARTA - Gray Daze, Chester Bennington's first band, will release an album tribute to the former vocalist. This was revealed by Bennington's wife.
Through Twitter social media, Talinda Bennington shared this information and revealed that Gray Daze had planned a reunion with Bennington before his death.
"One of Chester's greatest gifts is music. The only thing he is more proud of is being a father to his children. Given how much he cares, he wants fans to hear everything he does, and his musical journey begins with Gray Daze," tweeted Talinda. .
"He's very enthusiastic about doing this, he really wants to play rock music and there is a message in the songs that he knows will be meaningful to the fans."

Talinda added that when Chester died, the Gray Daze reunion seemed like an afterthought to everyone involved, they were suffering, he was suffering, and there were too many emotions to work out before they could even think about what the project would bring.
“After the (black) cloud lifted a bit, once we could focus on what Chester wanted us to do, we looked for ways to continue what Chester is working on, the things he is proud of and wants to share with his fans. Earlier this year it was revealed Bennington's 22-year-old son Jamie Bennington had recorded vocals for the project along with Korn's Brian "Head" Welch and James "Munky" Shaffer.
The album will be released through Bennington's record label and charity 320 Changes Direction which was founded to promote mental well-being. However, there are no details regarding the official release date.
The band released two albums in the 90s, their debut in 1994, Wake Me and its follow-up in 1997, ... No Sun Today.
Meanwhile, two months ago Talinda announced her engagement to a man named Michael F, a move supported by the surviving Linkin Park members.
