BTS Releases Come Over, New Song for ARMY at BTS Festa

JAKARTA - BTS is preparing a new release for its fans. The K-pop group will release the digital single "Come Over" on Thursday, coinciding with the BTS Festa series, the annual celebration of their debut day.

Citing Yonhap, Sabru, June 13, BigHit Music's agency stated that the song will be available on streaming platforms starting at 13.00 local time.

"Come Over" was previously included in the deluxe vinyl edition of BTS' fifth studio album, "Arirang", which was released last month. Now the song is released more widely in digital format.

The song was produced by Suga. Two other members, RM and J-Hope, were also involved in its creation.

Musically, "Come Over" blends pop with a majestic arrangement, synthesizers, and layered vocals. Synthesizers are electronic musical instruments commonly used to produce a variety of digital sounds.

According to BigHit Music, the lyrics of "Come Over" tell the story of returning to someone who means something after going through a period of uncertainty. The theme is also said to reflect BTS's relationship with its fans, ARMY.

The song has previously been performed at several select concerts on the ongoing "Arirang" world tour. That way, some fans have already heard it before its official release on streaming platforms.

On the same day, BTS also released a new vinyl edition of "Arirang (613 Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl)". This edition contains all the songs from the album "Arirang", plus two additional songs: "Voice Message: Love Song" and "Normal (Korean Ver.)".

There are a total of 16 songs in the release. "Voice Message: Love Song" contains a recording of a conversation between BTS members with the main question: "What is your love song?"

BTS is also scheduled to release the music video for "Merry Go Round", another song from the album "Arirang", exclusively on Spotify on Friday next week at 6 p.m. local time.
