Jonas Blue Presents a Summer Vibe in Single Girl

JAKARTA - Musician Jonas Blue has released the latest summer-themed single with Defected Records. The Girl single has officially launched at the end of May 2026.

The track is a highly anticipated follow-up to 2025's mega-hit, Edge Of Desire, this mesmerising house track has reached over 200 million global streams thanks to consistent top positions on the Shazam charts.

The launch is also supported by remixes from musicians in various house genres, including Franky Rizardo, Jazz-N-Groove, and Serve Cold & Grigoré, as well as a Sunrise version accompanied by a DJ mix live from Ibiza.

A year later, he's back in London's house scene with Girl, a fresh, summery new meldo. He showcases Jonas' global crossover power into the Defected world with a stirring vocal hook, backed by an addictive guitar pattern and an intoxicating four-on-the-floor groove.

"This album really came out of a pure nostalgia for me. I've always really loved French house and the early 2000s era of house music, simple songs, easy to remember, and instantly make you feel happy. I feel at one point, we lost a little of that cheerful energy, especially in terms of hooks that people can sing without having to think," said Jonas Blue.

"'Girl' is my way of getting back to that - it was one of those sessions that flowed naturally, without too much thinking, just chasing a feeling. I'm so excited for everyone to hear it, especially on Defected, it feels like the perfect home for a sound like this," he added.

Next year, Jonas will also continue to steal the world's attention with his US tour consisting of 14 performances - where tickets in Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto have sold out - as well as his new regular appearances at Hï Ibiza and Las Vegas, plus a large number of new songs that are in the process of being worked on.
