JAKARTA - TheOvertunes music group officially continued their musical journey. The trio, which was strengthened by Mikha Angelo, Reuben Nathaniel, and Mada Emmanuelle, released their latest work since three years ago with the mini album Endlessly.

The three brothers musicians came together to write new works for their third album. Headed by the single, "Until When?" TheOvertunes began their journey in this new era with a question and a firm rebuke to themselves.

Until When? was born naturally from the process of introspection and the desire to work.

"When we were writing, it felt like 'plong'," said Reuben, explaining the relief of finally being able to express long-buried feelings.

"The feeling of being aware that, "the life we want is what we have to fight for," said Mikha. "There are times when we may each have felt it," said Mada.

The song which starts with a crowded chorus is concocted like a cold slap, but wrapped in a warm embrace inside.

"This is a fun song for lazy people," said Mada.

The progression of the dominant minor chord is closely linked to the story of being on the verge of despair in his lyrics: "Until when will you smile and pretend? Too long to be silent, wait for death."

But instead of being filled with anger, the lyrics are sung to a jaunty melody en masse, like a push to get excited.

"His position is like a brother telling his sister, tough love," explained Mikha Angelo.

In this new era, TheOvertunes also intentionally provides different elements. Starting from the writing session which was done collectively with other musicians, to the vocal recording with the addition of a crowded background vocals.

The mix of music brings a celebration wrapped in warmth without leaving TheOvertunes' uniqueness, which is synonymous with acoustic guitars and lyrics that are rooted in the writer's heart.

Furthermore, TheOvertunes also intends to pour out various feelings and perspectives through their next works. There will be other tones that contain introspection, celebrating life, and living every second of life to the fullest.
