'Badai Pasti Berlalu' Concert Presents a Touch of Nostalgia from Erros Djarot's Works

JAKARTA - The "Storm Must Pass" concert presents the nostalgia of the legendary maestro Erros Djarot's work, which was performed by a number of musicians, which took place at the Sarbini Hall, Jakarta, Saturday night, April 25.

Marking Erros Djarot's 52 years of work, this concert presents songs, especially in the album "Badai Pasti Berlalu" which was released in 1977, by inviting several singers and musicians in the production process, including Chrisye and Yockie Suryo Prayogo.

"Badai' is meaningless without the support of all my friends. Actually, my songs are it's everything is about love. I hope you enjoy the performance ya. But I have to be honest, I'm not a musician. If you heard a great voice earlier, it's because you are all of them," said Erros when opening the "Badai Pasti Berlalu" concert, quoted by Antara.

The concert "Badai Pasti Berlalu" was opened by Once Mekel who performed the songs "Selamat Jalan Kasih" and "Merpati Putih" which were popularized by the late Chrisye.

"What is clear is that cool songs like this cannot be separated from the extraordinary experiences of Om Erros. In addition to music, he is also a legendary film producer, then director, and also an activist, much more," said Once.

Continuing, the performance of young musician Ardhito Pramono by singing the song "First Night", musician Vina Panduwinata brought the song "Sun".

"I am very happy, very happy that we are all here for Mas Eros Djarot and his journey for 50 years, it is amazing," he said.

In addition, there was also a performance from Titi DJ who performed the song "Cintaku", followed by the song "Badai Pasti Berlalu" sung by DirlyDave and the song "Baju Pengantin" performed from Rio Febrian's appearance.

A number of songs such as "Semusim", "Pelangi" to "Serasa" sung by Titi DJ in duet with Vina Panduwinata closed the "Badai Pasti Berlalu" concert.

"Thank you again, I love you all. Without you we are nothing. Once again, all I can give you is my sincere love," concluded Erros Djarot.

The concert "Badai Pasti Berlalu" was initiated by Kolam Ikan Creative Communication and all the works were rearranged by Demas Narawangsa and Yankjay, presenting a musical touch without losing the strong character and originality that has been attached.
