JAKARTA - The enthusiasm of fans for Lady Gaga's new album seems unstoppable. After reportedly releasing the album Chromatica at the end of 2020, Gaga has now confirmed that the album will arrive on May 29 even though the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet subsided.

Previously, the main character of A Star is Born revealed that the album was postponed due to the corona virus which is still a major world issue. In addition, the singer also postponed the Chromatica tour until the situation returned to normal.

"It doesn't feel right for me to release an album in the midst of a pandemic like this," said Gaga, launching NME.

At that time fans were speculating that this album would be released at the end of this year, but suddenly Gaga confirmed the end of May. The album's concept and teaser were already released to the public a few weeks prior to the release of the new date.

The track list for the Chromatica album was leaked a few months before Lady Gaga officially announced it. Last month, Gaga finally revealed the album will feature collaborations with Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, and Elton John.

The first single from Chromatica, entitled Stupid Love, was presented last February. This song received a lot of appreciation from critics and fans and seemed to be the key to the overall futuristic content of the album.

Now, fans can listen to the Chromatica album faster and can certainly treat their longing for Lady Gaga's music.

On the other hand, Lady Gaga curated the One World: Together at Home concert which featured a number of artists and musicians such as Lizzo, Billie Eilish, SuperM, and many others. This event is broadcast online to raise funds as well as to remind people to stay at home during the pandemic.

He was also confirmed as a speaker at the Dear Class of 2020 event held by YouTube in June. Lady Gaga will be side by side with Barack Obama, BTS, and Malala Yousafzai.
