The Real You, The HU Release New Album Preview

JAKARTA - The HU, a rock unit from Mongolia with a global reputation, is back with a bang with their latest single titled The Real You. Released via Better Noise Music, this song features a more aggressive and atmospheric side of The HU.

In addition, they also give a strong Western rock touch but still blend with their signature identity, namely Hunnu Rock. This single was produced by Dashka (Dashdondog Bayarmagnai) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, a five-time Grammy Award winner.

'The Real You' combines throat singing, a traditional Mongolian instrument, as well as a modern beat that hits, taking The HU's character to a more intense and emotional level.

"The single 'The Real You' is a representation of our upcoming new album," Temka said in a written statement received by VOI recently.

"We recorded this song by imagining our ancestors galloping on horseback across the landscape. Listen to this song to express the feelings you have been holding back and feel the incredible energy we are channeling to listeners," he added.

Through this song, The HU implies a reflective message about the importance of focusing on oneself, not judging others. This song is inspired by a Mongolian proverb that reads, "Don't worry about what's on other people's heads, but worry about what's not in your own head."

Although sung entirely in Mongolian, the emotion and intensity of the song remains universal, reinforced by sharp lyrics that highlight manipulation, fear and the abuse of power.

As a band that has brought Mongolian music to the world stage and recognized as a UNESCO Artist for Peace, The HU continues to prove itself as a global force that cannot be ignored.
