Hailee Steinfeld Reveals the Reason Behind Her Decision to Leave the Music World for a While

JAKARTA - Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has brought the latest news for her fans around the world.

The singer of "Starving" stated that he has no plans to return to the recording studio in the near future.

Despite having achieved great success in the music industry, Steinfeld feels that her passion for this industry has undergone a significant shift in recent years.

Steinfeld admitted that although music remains an integral part of his life, his focus is no longer on producing audio works.

"Even though I don't have any plans to make music at this moment, do I think about it? All the time," Steinfeld said, during a recent interview with Beau Society.

"Music has always been a big part of my life, and if it makes sense to go back into the studio, it's an easy 'yes' for me," he added.

Furthermore, the 29-year-old singer conveyed his honest notes about the reason for withdrawing from music, where he felt that the current industry no longer provided the same creative satisfaction as before.

He likened his anxiety to what British solo artist Charli XCX has often said about the pressures and expectations of pop culture.

"But the music industry has changed quite a bit over the last few years. I don't feel creatively fulfilled by music as much as I used to," he said. "I love the way Charli XCX writes about this."

Hailee Steinfeld's musical journey began with a bang after her appearance in Pitch Perfect 2 (2015). She released her debut EP titled "Haiz" which spawned global hits such as "Love Myself" and "Starving".

His success continued through "EP Half Written Story" in 2020. However, his busy schedule in the world of acting - including his involvement in the horror film Sinners - seems to be the main priority of the star at the moment.
