JAKARTA - Bogor-based musician Featuz greets listeners with a reflective single born from personal journeys and new life phases he went through titled People Never Change. This song is Featuz's first release since his debut album Humans and Everything in Between which aired in 2023.

The presence of this single also marks a new chapter in his musical and personal journey. This work is inspired by various changes in life, including the marriage he has been living for the past two years. From this experience, Featuz found a new meaning of change - a rebuttal to the cynical assumption that humans never change.

Through this song, he actually emphasized that sincere love can naturally change a person, without coercion.

The resulting visuals are blurry, warm, and abstract to represent how love slowly changes a person. Musically, this song is a new space of exploration for Featuz. He uses various synthesizers such as Yamaha Motif XF8, Nord Stage 3, Mini Nova, and Sequential Prophet X to create a warm and dreamy feel. The bass used is his first bass, the Squier Affinity which has been modified personally.

"People Never Change" also marks Featuz's new step with ENS Management and becomes his first single under the auspices of Demajors Records. He called the support of the management team, label, and especially his wife as an important part in creating this song.
