JAKARTA - The LIL LEAGUE from EXILE TRIBE group officially released their latest album, NEOMATIC. With LILMATIC as the main song, this Japanese pop group shows their vocal ability for the new generation.
The song LILMATIC samples Für Elise, a classic work by Beethoven, combined with fresh lyrics and sounds.
"Because this song combines classical music with hip-hop, it feels like a mix of nostalgia and exploration of a completely new genre. The original melody was written for the piano, so it was quite challenging to compose lyrics and vocals on top of it. But, the process of interpreting the lyrics and the background of the song was actually the most fun part for us," said Sena Iwaki, leader of LIL LEAGUE.
The music video also features the six members in sharp choreography and blends with the catchy and fresh LILMATIC song.
LIL LEAGUE's latest album contains 13 new pop genre tracks including Wonder Island which became the theme song for the LIL LEAGUE LIVE TOUR 2026 "Wonder Island" which took place from January to 3 February 2026 yesterday.
NEOMATIC marks a new chapter for LIL LEAGUE as they develop their musicality in Japan and prepare to greet more listeners in Southeast Asia.
"In 2026, we hope to be artists who are able to convey our music and performances to a wider audience. We are very happy to know that there are many people abroad, including in Southeast Asia, who support us," said Sena again.
Meanwhile, the NEOMATIC album from LIL LEAGUE can be listened to digitally and physically.
