JAKARTA - Robbie Williams again sparked heated speculation about the future of the group that made his name, Take That.

The "Angels" singer gave a strong hint that a full reunion with his old colleagues is not impossible, although not in the near future.

"I'm sure we'll ride again, but that's not in my plans at the moment," Williams said in a recent interview on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

The statement comes amid Take That's preparations to embark on an ambitious tour titled "The Circus Live" in 2026.

This tour is an attempt by Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen to recreate the success of their 2009 tour of the same title.

Williams also recalled the moment when Barlow visited his home in Los Angeles and showed a recording of The Circus concert. He admitted that he was very impressed with the concept of the show.

"You know, Gaz came to the house in Los Angeles and he brought a copy of the show and played it for me, and I just stood up - really stood up, not sitting down - and watched it in awe," the 51-year-old singer recalled.

The admiration even made him want to return to the group's embrace. "(I) love it, and I feel, 'I want to go back'. And then the guys did the 'The Circus' tour again, and it was a good idea, and it caught everyone's imagination, and the tickets sold very well," he added.

Although Williams gave a positive signal for the future, he made sure he would not be involved in the 2026 The Circus Live tour.

The same goes for Jason Orange, who has chosen to stay out of the spotlight since leaving in 2014.

Take That themselves in their official statement expressed their great enthusiasm to revive the memory of the tour.

"The Circus tour was one of our favorite experiences as a group, and in the years since, we've talked many times about how we'd love to do it again one day," Take That said.

"We are so excited to welcome old and new audiences across the UK and Ireland to The Circus Live show next summer. See you there!"

Williams' current focus seems to be on his solo career, which is still productive. He is scheduled to release a new album, "BRITPOP", on February 6, which is already on the list of the most anticipated albums according to NME.

Interestingly, the album includes a song titled "Morrissey" which he wrote with Gary Barlow - a proof that their relationship has improved after Williams admitted that he "really hated" Barlow in the past.

In addition to the new album, fans can also watch the group's history through a three-part documentary series about Take That which will soon be released on Netflix in the near future.
