Tompi Remembers Glenn Fredly When Appearing At The Sumatra Flood Charity Concert

Tompi became one of the musicians who initiated and participated in the 100 Musician Heal Sumatra Charity Concert as an action to help victims of flash floods in Sumatra. He recalled his best friend, Glenn Fredly when appearing at the event.

On stage, Tompi revealed that the spirit of solidarity in this concert was inspired by the legacy of the kindness of the late Glenn Fredly.

Tompi emphasized that Glenn's enthusiasm in encouraging musicians to move quickly to help others must continue.

"Like it or not, we have to continue. Good culture like this must be continued. All my friends when I called immediately said okay, without thinking," he said.

Meanwhile, musician Ello said that his participation in the concert was a form of talent use for humanitarian purposes.

"I realized that I used my talent for good. We rarely get together, unfortunately just get together if there is an event like this. But I don't think much because this is one of the things that brings goodness to others," said Ello.

It is known that the charity concert 100 Musician Heal Sumatra Charity Concert aims to raise public donations to help residents who have lost their homes, public facilities, and family members due to disasters in Sumatra.

The charity concert features more than 100 musicians across generations, including Tompi and Ello, who performed without pay to encourage fundraising for the recovery of affected areas.

The event took place at T Space Bintaro on Sunday 8 December and will continue at Lippo Mall Kemang on Tuesday 16 December.
