Etenia Croft And Farel Prayoga Reveal The Meaning Of Friendship In Single 'We Are Not Alone'

JAKARTA - The collaboration between two young stars, Farel Prayoga and Etenia Crook, has again pampered fans' ears through a new single entitled We Are Not Alone.

This song with light and warm pop music is the third single from the Farel and Etenia duets.

Written And Produced by Marvel Marlon, 'We Are Not Alone' raises the theme of sincere and mutually reinforcing friendship.

Different from their previous duet project, this song presents a closer arrangement and shows the maturity of their collaboration.

While telling stories about the closeness of two friends who are always present for each other, despite changes in time and conditions.

"Temanya tentang persahabatan yang meskipun kita dalam keadaan sulit tapi membantu saling sebagai pengingat teman itu akan selalu ada mendukung kita," kata Etenia Croft dalam keterangannya, Minggu, 7 Desember.

Kita Tak Sendiri menjadi momen penting bagi Farel Prayoga yang mencoba spectra musik baru. Penyanyi asal Banyuwangi yang identifikan dengan koplo ini mengaku sengaja mengambil langkah berani untuk beralih ke pop.

"I want to occasionally get out of my comfort zone, so I can get a new atmosphere and experience," said Farel.

Although he had to leave the genre that made his name, Farel admitted that he did not encounter any significant difficulties in bringing this single pop.

"Alhamdulillah, there is no (difficult), the most familiar with the song and the way to sing. But relax, there's Ms. Marlon," he added.

Behind the convenience that Farel felt, the production process of this song held its own challenges for the producer. Marvel Marlon revealed that the changes in votes experienced by Farel and Etena due tolisting made the work on the song more complicated.

"It makes the work of this song quite complex. But I still want to maintain a fun feel that reflects their friendship. Harmony is made simple to focus on their cohesiveness," said Marlon.

Farel and Etenia's cohesiveness is not only felt in song harmony, but also off stage. Farel admitted that he was very comfortable returning to work with Etenia.

"Surely it will also be a friend because the person, his personality is positive, good too. I'm with him like there are topics that are discussed. Comfortable. Like telling stories. We've been around for a long time too, we're used to it," said Farel.

This cheerful atmosphere was carried to the recording session. Etenia said the team's support made her feel relaxed. "When we take a recording, it's definitely really fun, because you can play games too, because Ms. Marlon likes to be happy, run around too. So it's just like fun," said Etenia.

Seriousness in working on this project has also penetrated the visuals. Marvel Marlon, who also acts as a director, chose Singapore as the shooting location for the video clip. This selection aims to strengthen the modern character of the two young singers.

"In the video clip, it's just like a fun process. Because the process is adjusted to the flow. The shooting process is really fun because the idea was built together. So the one in the video really describes our true atmosphere," concluded Etenia.
