JAKARTA - Former CEO of the ADOR agency, Min Hee Jin opened his voice regarding HYBE's lawsuit against him. This is the first time he has spoken after NewJeans members returned to ADOR and HYBE and dropped their contract termination lawsuits.

When asked about his feud with HYBE, Min Hee Jin explained that the lawsuit was not about money but his struggle and pride.

"The conflict of the shareholder's contract is to maintain my self-esteem," said Min Hee Jin on the JTBC YouTube channel.

Min Hee Jin feels he has the right to buy his shares in ADOR to HYBE according to the contract. However, HYBE refused to give the right because Min Hee Jin was deemed to have violated the company's trust, although the court stated there was no evidence of a violation.

"The lawsuit drains my money, but I think it's worth at stake. I was fired from my position in August (2024) and I stepped down from the director position in November (2024)," said Min Hee Jin.

"If I really want the money, I just need to stay there one more quarter so the agency's profits increase. But I found an inappropriate clause and felt betrayed. I was disappointed and felt I couldn't last another day," he said.

When asked if he had apologized to NJZ or NewJeans, Min Hee Jin replied "HYBE who should apologize to them."

Currently, Min Hee Jin has established a new company called One of a Kind or OOAK. He also admitted that many had contacted him for investment.

"After the news circulated I made the company, I got a lot of calls from inside and outside Korea. Many wanted to work with me but that hasn't happened yet because the building is still being renovated," he said.

If I return to producing the group, I will create a group of boys. I don't have a plan to create a girl group yet. After the boy group debuts, maybe a girl group can follow," said Min Hee Jin.
