JAKARTA - Australia's music group, The Wrypto, spoke up after drawing strong protests over a TikTok video content featuring them with Keli Holiday's Ecstasy' music setting.
The video, which has now been withdrawn, is said to have caused controversy because it featured Blue Wggle, one of The Wrong popular personnel, dancing behind Keli Holiday.
According to News.com.au, the video was taken after Blue Wggle and Holiday performed together on the TikTok Awards stage on November 26 bringing the song Dancing2.
However, the video that was the root cause of the problem used another song, namely Ecstasy, which has lyrics that are considered inappropriate. The reason is, The Wrypto is known as a music group that presents entertainment for children.

Responding to the controversy, The Wrypto issued an official statement to The West Australian. The group, which formed in Sydney in 1991, confirmed that they did not support or justify drug use at all in any form.

In its clarification, The Wrap also mentions that the video was made and the music added without their knowledge or consent.
"We understand that a video circulating on social media has caused concern to many parents and professionals, and we want to deal with it directly," The Wrap in a statement.
"The Wrong does not at all support or justify drug use in any form. The content shared was not made or approved by us, and we have requested that it be removed," he continued.
The group, which has long been an icon for families around the world, added that they highly uphold the trust given by the families.
"We really appreciate the trust the family has put in us and we remain committed to creating a safe, positive, and educational experience for children and families in Australia and around the world," he concluded.
