JAKARTA - The fact that Piyu and Fadly 'gitary and vocalist of PADI Reborn' have different opinions regarding the Copyright Law, especially regarding royalties, has become a common understanding among Indonesian music observers.

As is known, Piyu joined the All-Indonesian Composite Association (AKSI), while Fadly was at the Indonesian Voice Vibration (VISION) two organizations that are often opposed when talking about the Copyright Law.

Despite being on the often-disputed camp, in fact Piyu and Fadly are still compact on PADI Reborn affairs, which last week just introduced a new single titled Ego.

It doesn't stop there. PADI Reborn will also launch their new album titled 'Two Eight', followed by a 28th PADI Reborn celebration concert in January next year.

Responding to the 'unitally inconsistent' relationship with the vocalist, Piyu called it a common thing.

Despite having different opinions on copyright matters, the 52-year-old guitarist said that the journey of music with Fadly for almost three decades was not easy to just break.

"We've been friends for 28 years. So we have different thoughts, different views, different opinions, it's a normal thing," said Piyu to the media crew in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, November 11.

"We are only one family, sometimes different, brothers and sisters have different thoughts. Moreover, we are in the same band," he continued.

Furthermore, although it is different when talking about copyright, Piyu emphasized that togetherness with Fadly is still going on for PADI Reborn.

"We are still on the same stage together, we are making songs together too, and we are recording together too," he said.
