Warming Up Three Indonesian Male Soloists Becomes 'Stealers Of Attention' Before Babyface In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Ancol Beach City International Stadium (BCIS) on Saturday, October 25 night, turned into an arena of great nostalgia when legendary musician Babyface successfully held his single concert in Jakarta entitled With Love From BRI Present Babyface - Live in Jakarta 2025.

Thousands of fans in the country warmly welcomed the long-awaited event, as if drowning in a sea of memories.

However, before the R&B maestro took over the main stage, the spotlight actually led to three top Indonesian male soloists who looked stunning as opening.

Not just a sweetener, the presence of Sammy Simorangkir, Rio Febrian, and Marcell Siahaan actually managed to become 'stealers' with the performance they presented.

The three commissioners successfully burned the enthusiasm of the audience through a series of timeless hits, even delivering surprises with a new, more modern arrangement. Instead of eliminating the essence of nostalgia, this contemporary touch actually enriches the audience's experience.

Sammy Simorangkir was lined up as the first nostalgic gate lighter. With his distinctive vocal strength, he immediately isolated the audience. His flagship numbers such as "He", "Can't Go", "Retaliated with Lies", until "Juh Cinta" immediately echoed throughout the stadium. Thousands of spectators who were dissolved in an atmosphere couldn't stop themselves from singing together.

The nostalgic fire was then kept on fire by Rio Febrian. Taking over the stage, he continued the parade of memory songs with his melodious vocals. Meanwhile, Marcell Siahaan appeared as the closing of the opening session, giving an unforgettable final performance. He started his performance with a romantic ballad. Songs such as "When You Greet", "Se musim", and "Not Replaced" create a deep atmosphere.

But at its peak, Marcell cleverly managed to change the rhythm to be more cheerful. When singing "Just Praise", he successfully invited the entire audience to stand up and shake slightly, to become the perfect warm-up before Babyface went on stage and became the real momentum determinant that night.
