Orange as the first EP described Kalya's exploration of five stages of love, ranging from admiration, fear, and doubt, to honesty and acceptance. The title itself was chosen because it was inspired by several things, one of which was a series he had watched which implies the meaning of whatever happens, it happens.

For Kalya, Orange is a symbol of openness and acceptance of all the feelings present in her. Orange color also symbolizes its own beauty for Kalya, like the color of the sky transition: between the beginning and the end, light and dark, and between conflicting feelings but still beautiful.

"This is a process of learning to accept life and feelings for whatever it is," Kalya said in a written broadcast received by VOI, October 24.

"I want this EP to illustrate that love can be beautiful, uncertain, but still real. In the end, honesty to feelings is what is the real beauty," he said.

The process of working on this album lasted quite a long time, involving Rendy Pandugo and Khalishah Isyana as two main collaborators who helped realize Kalya's musical vision. Collaboration with Rendy, for example, in 3000 Miles is considered very appropriate, because this work realizes Kalya's desired message in the simplest and honest way - simple in the best way possible. he said.

"Every song has its own time," Kalya said. "Some took years to finish, because I wanted every detail from the lyrics to the sound to really convey the message I felt."

Although each work has a different distance in release time, Kalya feels that everything is connected by one common thread: the journey of life and emotions that now feels right for her to celebrate through Orange.
