JAKARTA - Five youths from South Tangerang who are members of the HE3X music group have again presented their latest work entitled Where Do We Go?

HE3X is inhabited by Alexandra (vocals, synthesizers), Harrya Rivani (guitar, vocals), Aryandra Kareem (guitar), Fathara Rizqi (bass), and Bimo Hadi (drums), so far known for their illegal exploration in the realm of indie-rock, power pop, and alternatives that often combine introspective nuances with incident energy.

However, this time there is a significant difference. Through 'Whoe Do We Go?', they chose a warmer and more reflective road showing the contemplative side that had previously rarely appeared on the surface.

This song is actually born from a very basic anxiety: where will we go next? A simple question, but always haunts every individual in his life journey.

HE3X with the expertise of capturing this direction into a soft, melancholic musical composition, but full of striking honesty.

With an electronic feel and an alternative pop touch, 'Whoe Do We Go?' depicts a moment of silence as a person rides alone in the early hours of the morning, after all the hustle and bustle of accumulating daily activity.

When the mind is full of questions, the lyrics appear 'spontaneously, as they are, and become a deep reflection. They try to summarize the existential complexity into the simplicity of the melody that is easy for anyone to feel.

The creative process of this song is fairly full of intrigue. Unlike the previous release, 'Whoe Do We Go?' through a long and tiring discussion between personnel. Alexandra, who is a lyricist, even had to go back and forth to revise her writing during the recording process.

"This song feels very personal to us. Each of us has its own version of that question, and we try to answer it through music," Alexandra said in her statement, Monday, October 20.

Meanwhile, the selection of instruments is worked on with an experimental approach, which is a response to all the dynamics and intrigue they experience personally.

In order to strengthen the narrative of the silent journey, HE3X worked on the music video 'Whoe Do We Go?' with an interesting concept: one-take-shot and slow motion. This visual straightforwardly describes a silent journey, but full of meaning.

Meanwhile, the shooting process is carried out independently by all HE3X personnel, with the help of Agustinus as a videographer as well as editor.

This simple visual, basically, wants to emphasize the honesty they want to convey, that sometimes the most valuable journey is when we dare to pause for a moment, pull over, and ask: where exactly do we want to go after this?

As a complement to this sonic journey, it is reported that HE3X has also prepared a side-B titled You which will arrive shortly after the launch of the music video 'Who Do We Go?' on various digital streaming platforms.
