Documentary Three Parts Ready To Be Presented As The Most Comprehensive Portrait Of Michael Jackson

JAKARTA - A new program has been approved to map allegations of sexual harassment against the late King of Music Pop, Michael Jackson.

The three-part documentary series is temporarily titled Legacy: Michael Jackson, which is one of the five new historical commissions ordered by the BBC Factual.

According to an announcement released quoted by NME, the documentary will thoroughly explore Jackson's career journey towards the peak of fame, including allegations of harassment and the eternal legacy of one of the most successful pop stars of all time.

It is stated that, with access to rare intimate archives and interviews that reveal many things with those closest to them, this documentary will be Jackson's most complete and authoritative portrait ever produced.

Meanwhile, this program is described as a thorough in-depth study of a pioneering music genius, whose personal life remains a complicated puzzle.

This documentary will also investigate the story behind its biggest hits, innovative music videos, and legendary stage performances. Not to forget, it will be mentioned how his inheritance wealth is still able to generate billions of dollars from his works.

Furthermore, this comprehensive search of life and legacy will begin in early years with Jackson 5 in the middle of the 1960s, which is still racially separate, to the controversy that has continued to overshadow him in the last years of his life.

Earlier in 2019, HBO had produced a two-part documentary based on allegations that Jackson had sexually abused two minors.

The film, directed by Dan Reed, focuses on testimonies from Wade Robson and James Safechick, where the two accused Jackson of sexual harassment as they were a child.

Long before that, in 1993, Evan Chandler, a dentist and screenwriter living in Los Angeles, accused Jackson of harassing Jordan, his 13-year-old son, a charge Jackson denies. The case was finally resolved after both sides reached financial settlement in 1994.

In 2013, four years after Jackson's death, choreographer Robson filed a lawsuit against his legacy. He claims that Jackson has sexually abused him between the ages of 7 and 14. Former child actor James Safechick also made similar accusations.

But on the other hand, Jackson's own heirs consistently continue to argue all allegations of sexual harassment addressed to him.
