The Music Market is a big idea from Mr. Fadli, Mr. Minister," he said. One time we talked after designing the Indonesian Music Conference, roughly what else we can support for the music ecosystem, and his idea is, "Bro Wamen, what if we create a music market where artists can sell physical works such as vinyl, cassettes, CD, merchandise, and also shops that sell musical instruments.
Giring expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Culture to support the holding of the Music Market as an annual agenda to advance the national music ecosystem. He also hopes that this program can be presented in other cities throughout Indonesia.
"Hopefully not just in Jakarta, other times we can make this Music Market in other events, in other cities, at other festivals," said the Deputy Minister of Culture.
For information, Jakarta Music Con 2025 is still ongoing until Sunday, October 12 tomorrow. Not only the Music Market, this event also features performances featuring a row of singers and music groups, as well as talk shows and discussions that discuss many things about the music industry.
