Slank And Deep Purple Will Share Stages In Jakarta

JAKARTA - A surprise came from two big rock bands, Slank from Indonesia and Deep Purple from England. Both will share the stage for a special performance in Jakarta.

The news about the Slank and Deep Purple concerts was first opened to the public by Slank himself, which through uploads on the official Instagram account, uploaded a photo of the drum bearing the names of the two bands.

Suddenly the upload was responded enthusiastically, not only from rock music lovers in the country, but also by well-known musicians.

Collaboration with international musicians is nothing new for Slank. They shared the stage with Michael Angelo Batio and Maurice Brown. However, collaboration with Deep Purple is at a different level, which of course is the dream of many fans in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Deep Purple itself is a big band that is part of the history of music performances in Indonesia. They first appeared in Jakarta in 1975.

The band, known for its hit songs such as 'Smoke on the Water', 'Highway Star', and 'Born', also held several concerts in Indonesia. Finally, they appeared in Solo in 2023.
