JAKARTA - Queen, who currently only leaves Brian May (guitar) and Roger Taylor (drums), confirmed that she would not quit musical activities anytime soon.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Taylor even revealed what Queen's future plans are.
"I don't think we're done yet. And I don't think we're going to say, 'last goodbye,' or something. Because it's never been the last time, right?," Taylor said.
The statement makes sense, considering Queen is currently celebrating their 50-year iconic song, "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Together with vocalist Adam Lambert, who has joined since 2011, Queen has just completed a big 'Rhapsody Tour' tour in 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
In the same conversation, May also revealed that they had worked on new music with Lambert, although the results were uncertain.
"Not many people know, but Adam and we've tried a few things in the studio," May said. "Nothing has really happened so far. Some things are destined to happen, and some don't."

The 78-year-old guitarist added that there was great pressure to release new material. "If they're going to release something new, it should be at a certain level," May said.
He continued, "It has to be the right thing. And I always say, 'Is it appropriate for me to do new material?' I felt it scared me."
Furthermore, May said she and other Queen personnel were considering bringing their live show to The Sphere, a futuristic venue in Las Vegas.
"I'm very interested in The Sphere. It makes my mind work," he said.
The advanced venue, which opened in 2023, has hosted major musicians such as U2, Phish, The Eagles, and Backstreet Boys. May claimed to be inspired after watching the performances of The Eagles.
"I sat there watching The Eagles, thinking, 'We have to do this. The things we can bring here will be amazing.' So, yes, I want to do it. We're in a conversation," May concluded.
