Finneas And Ashe Release First Album As Thevors Titled The Dream

JAKARTA - Finneas & Ashe who is a member of Thevors group released their debut album entitled The Dream via Darkroom Records. David 's Brother' is lined up as the main single for this album, with a music video directed by Claudia Sulawski.

David 's Brother's own is a fast-ramed song that contains nostalgic feelings of tension when meeting someone at a bar. Efforts to withstand the turmoil of feelings are wrapped in live and collaborative music production.

Set in a bar, the music video features a natural chemistry and sincere bond between them as they reminisce about the past, laugh, and celebrate the happiness and togetherness that is at the heart of Thevors.

Through The Dream, Thevors revived the warmth and gyrove pop of the '70s era by writing sharp songs, rich harmony, and a distinctive modern twist. The album embodys the golden era ofturbation, The Dream interprets the intimate and sadness narrative filled with sunlight from artists such as Carole King and Simon & Garfunkel, through cinematic lenses that stretch from coast to beach.

The band is led by old friends and collaborators Finneas and Ashe, who first stole listeners' hearts with their hits in 2019, Moral of the Story and followed by Till Forever Falls apart in 2021. Some songs highlight New York City clearly, but in essence, the album remains rooted in Los Angeles, where most of the songs are written and recorded live in Finneas's living room with members of his solo band, Matthew Fildey (Ricky Rat Gourmet) and David Marinelli (Marinelli).

Just drums, old CP80 electric piano, guitar, bass, and Ashe and I sing together, recalls Finneas. "That's how every artist dreams of making an album," said Ashe.

The release of the album will be accompanied by a series of major concerts starting in Hollywood Forever, Los Angeles.
