Aerosmith Introduces Single Orinal Through Collaboration With Yungblud

JAKARTA - Aerosmith and British musician Yungblud launched footage of their collaborative song titled My Only Angel.

The launch of this teaser came after the two appeared together at an event, which sparked speculation among fans.

After paying tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne at MTV VMA 2025, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, along with Yungblud, uploaded a short clip on social media. In the video, Tyler and Yungblud hug.

"We have secrets and no one knows," Tyler said, citing the post, Tuesday, September 16.

Now, that secret is revealed as a new single. Although there is no exact release date yet, the short clip of the song that was shared was enough to make fans curious.

In the uploaded footage, it can be heard that they sing together, "Will you cry / if I calling you my angel / gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you one more time."

This collaboration is an important moment because My Only Angel marks the first original song Aerosmith has worked on in more than a decade. Their last studio album, Music From Another Dimension!, was released in 2012.

Single collaboration with Yungblud also gave a special meaning: Even though Aerosmith had stopped the tour early because of Tyler's band injury, they were still active in releasing new music.

To date, it is not yet known whether this single will stand alone or be part of a larger album.

For information, Yungblud's appearance with Aerosmith on MTV VMA received a positive response from the public, including actress Ariana Grande.

The collaboration performance is part of the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Yungblud opened the show by performing Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" and "Changes" songs from Black Sabbath. Meanwhile Steven Tyler and Joe Perry then joined to perform the song "Mama, I'm Coming Home."
