Entering The Age Of 40, Andien Is Ready To Reorganize His Dreams In Music

JAKARTA - Andien celebrated his 40th birthday on August 25. At the same time, the jazz singer who started a music career since she was a teenager also celebrated her 25-year journey in the music industry.

Reflecting on what has been going on throughout his life, Andien through the latest upload on his Instagram account admitted that he was afraid when he entered his current age.

"I was afraid of age 40. I was afraid at the time I didn't do anything, I was afraid like I was running out of time," Andien said, citing an upload caption, Tuesday, September 16.

"The fear is valid, although in the end all of them are only in my heart. It turns out that with the experience that already exists, this age actually feels like a reset button: the opportunity to really form a life as I care about it," he continued.

Now for Andien, entering the head of four, he sees it as a point where he feels more and more full as a person, especially as a singer.

With his 25 years of musical travel, the singer of Gemintang feels that he has headed for something even wider. He also expressed his readiness to do new things.

"Full with the idea, with passion, with the project, with the work that I still want to work on. As if a 25-year-old journey of singing had just taken you to a wider door," he said.

"I'm ready. Ready to enjoy everything, struggling with ideas, presenting it with a complete heart. Because life starts every time we dare to rearrange our dreams," added Andien.

Previously, Andien also released a video manifesto, which describes his career in the Indonesian music scene.

"This manifesto video is an offering for me for the Indonesian music industry which continues to evolve from time to time, and always finds new talents and shapes every era, and in various genres," said Andien.

"Every era of Indonesian music has a story, and I am grateful to be in and be a part of it," he said.
