JAKARTA - Synchronize Fest 2025 presents a special appearance through a segment titled Centil Era, which will appear on the third day at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on October 5.

This stage will be a meeting room for female musicians across generations, from Astrid, Aura Kasih, Citra Scholastika, Shanty, duo Sinta and Jojo, to Duo Maia. They will appear with today's stars, such as Naykilla, to present a unique musical color.

The Director of Communication Synchronize Festival, Aldila Karina, said that Centil Era does not just carry nostalgia. He said this idea stemmed from a trend that returned to life among today's young generation.

"Actually, the Centil Era performance is a manifestation of what is happening and is trending today," Aldila said at a press conference in Kemang, South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 10.

"As we all know, about 20 years ago, in the early 2000s, centil music at that time, which was released like that, with the fashion as well," he added.

The style of Y2K or Year 2000, said Aldila, is now reborn as part of the pop culture of young Gen Z.

"It has been manifested into the current era, where currently in a newer audience, the incident is Gen Z. They support and absorb the characteristics of fashion or style from Y2K and also Centil Era," said Aldila.

This phenomenon can also be seen clearly in various nightclubs, where centil songs from the past are back to being a mainstay.

"For example, if we come to bars, clubs like that or parties in South Jakarta or anywhere else, the music that incidentally is girl music," said Aldila.

Due to the great enthusiasm for this type of music, Synchronize Fest feels the need to present a special stage to celebrate this trend.
