Slipknot's Duality Song Touches 1 Billion Stream On Spotify

JAKARTA - Another rock music band entered the Billions Club from Spotify. They are Slipknot who have just won 1 billion streams for the song Duality.

The Billions Club program was initiated in 2020 to appreciate musicians who have a big influence through their work. They were then given a placard as a symbolic tribute.

Duality itself is one of the mainstay hits of Slipknot from the Vol album. 3: The Subliminal Verses. The song, which lasted 4 minutes 12 seconds, managed to pass the number of 1 billion streams on September 2.

This work is Slipknot's most popular song that penetrated 1 billion streams. In second place is Psychosocial with 765 million streams and Before IForget with 667 million streams.

Slipknot is side by side with several popular names that first entered the Billions Club, including Metallica, Aerosmith, ABBA, Guns N' Roses to Van Halen.

Joey Jordison, a former Slipknot drummer thinks Duality is a special track, making him one of the things that catches the attention of listeners.

"Joey This song has one of the toughest grooves we've ever created. The song is dark, but the chorus is very free in terms of tones and things we've never done before, and things we did with the voice of Corey [Taylor] is completely wild," he told MTV some time ago.
