Agnez Mo Sings Motherland, Calls For Mutual Protection And Peace For Indonesia

JAKARTA - Agnez Mo shows his concern for Indonesia, the country he loves. He also spread messages and hopes to people who are fighting for justice.

Through uploads on Instagram on September 3, Agnez sang the song Ibu Pertiwi and Indonesia Pusaka, two songs that are felt to represent the current state situation.

Bringed wholeheartedly even with minimal technical means, Agnez hopes that her singing can bring a piece of peace. In the midst of a busy schedule, he still wants to show his support through what he can do.

"Sorry if I can only make a living.. Currently I am in Toronto, trying to focus on making achievements (in the end, also for the name of my own country).

In the midst of shooting (and also actually being physio because there is a minor injury), I can't close my eyes to what's happening in Indonesia.

"Sorry if the results are not perfect, but in the Midst of my schedule, I finally found only 1 day to sing these 2 of Indonesia's most loved national songs and shoot them with a simple camera," wrote Agnez Mo in his upload caption.

Agnez Mo also expressed his great love for Indonesia even though sometimes he has to do everything himself. He still has a strong desire to make the nation proud in a wider arena.

"Apart from all of this, my hope for Indonesia remains strong. I always try to bring and make Indonesia proud on the world stage (yes... at my own expense, money, and own resources). Even when some people try to exploit my name for their own interests, or use me as a distraction in the past, my hopes never waver. My belief is always that Indonesia will rise," he said.

In the end, Agnez Mo emphasized that people should not be easily provoked and expanded. He believes that by protecting each other, the state will go to a better direction.
