Working On Solo Album, Bruce Dickinson Refuses To Use The Same Formula Twice

JAKARTA - Bruce Dickinson has unquestionable musical aspirations. After completing the Run for Your Lives Tour with Iron Maiden, he is ready to leave again on a solo tour.

The tour is part of a series of promotions for the album The Mandrake Project which was released last 2024. Bruce plans to travel North America for the first time in his solo career journey.

This year Bruce also brought his old works to life from 1994. He presented the rejuvenated More Balls to Picasso with several new touches.

Bruce has his own approach in working on solo songs. He refused to make the same formula twice.

"If you think about it again, my modus operandi is for solo works, there are many recordings that are never the same twice. Instead of, 'Okay, yes, style like that, and they are indeed that way, and that's a slightly better version, and that's a more modern version. ,'" said Bruce quoting Loudwire, August 8.

The Iron Maiden player gave a tweet about the upcoming North American tour. He wants to provide sincere and strong energy with several musicians he believes in.

"This is a real band performance. It's a rock 'n' roll band and we're there, six'yah, six plus one theremin and we're going to perform on stage and perform songs from Balls to Picasso, which we're used to playing. We'll perform some songs from Mandrake. We're bringing songs from Chemical Weddings, so if you want to hear "The Alchemist", the song will always be there every night," he concluded.
