Ariel Reveals Reasons She Was Not Involved In Peterpan Reunion Concert

JAKARTA - Peterpan will hold a reunion concert in the near future. Most of the personnel on their debuts Lukman, Reza, Andika, and Reza will appear in a concert titled Peterpan: The Journey Continues in Eldorado, Bandung on August 31.

Ariel's absence is a big question among fans. The reason is, the vocalist is still active in music, unlike Uki, who has long decided to walk outside of music.

Responding to the question, Ariel said that his absence from the Peterpan reunion concert was related to NOAH's hiatus decision.

"Incidentally, because NOAH is still on hiatus, in Peterpan there is Lukman. So, if I sing, the hiatus of NOAH disappears. So, I can't join," Ariel said when met in Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 22.

However, Ariel gave his friends full support. He believes that Peterpan's reunion concert can cure the longing for fans.

"But I really support it. It's like treating the cages of Peterpan fans. As long as NOAH hiatus, there is Peterpan, even though the vocalist is changing," he said. Hopefully it can treat their genes.

The NOAH frontman also mentioned the presence of collaborators 'Marcello 'Ello' Tahitoe, Tiara Anrini, Fiersa Besari, and Alexandra The' will give a new color for Peterpan's reunion concert.

"It's fun. There's Ello there and there's Tiara too. So, we can listen to Peterpan's song with a girl version," Ariel said.

"If the time is right, I want to see it," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding Uki's absence, Ariel said that it did not mean that there were problems, but was based on his decision that he no longer wanted to make music.

Uki doesn't really have a problem. Uki decided not to make music anymore. So, it has nothing to really do with it," concluded Ariel.
