Waiting For Rhoma Irama's Romantic Action With Repertoar Maliq & D'Escentials At Partypora 2025

JAKARTA - Maliq & D'Essentials (MAD) has long seen Rhoma Irama and Sonnet Group as role models. A little bit of stage action until their song was inspired by the King of Dangdut.

At the 2025 Party, the two top performers will collaborate. Sonnet Group and Maliq & D'Essentials are ready to exchange songs and present fun collaborations on stage.

This plan is part of a new concept offered by Partypora in the fourth event on 5, 6 and 7 September. Dozens of musicians will exchange setlists, both performed in stages and individually.

As a dangdut music dedengkot that has been in a career for decades, Rhoma Irama has not closed the space for exploration. He is ready to accept the challenge of Pestopora to perform contemporary songs on stage.

Rhoma Irama has even done training in the studio while other musicians are still busy thinking about concepts and setlists. In a press conference held on July 21 yesterday in South Jakarta, videos of Rhoma and Sonnet training were shown.

In the show, Rhoma Irama is seen performing popular songs Maliq & D'Essentials including We Make Romantic and Twilight Teduh Pelita. The Dangdut King also chose Kumpul Boy, Vina Panduwinata's old song which was recently re-released by Angga et al.

Kiki Aulia Ucup as Festival Director of Partypora appreciates Rhoma Irama's totality in providing an interesting performance experience.

"Give your hand to Bang Haji, even though he can't come today, he's been training with Sonnet," said Kiki Ucup.

Apart from Sonnet Group X Maliq & D'Essentials, the first 2025 day of the Party will also be memorable with exciting collaborations from Ebiet G. Ade X Iwan Fals, Slank X Sal Priadi to the X Sore Rain Parade.
