Makki Calls Ungu Asks Business Class Flight Riders After 20 Years In The Music Industry

JAKARTA - Bassis Ungu, Makki Parikesit, also responded to the question of musicians and new bands being considered excessive, making it difficult for promoters or concert organizers to work.

Playing for Ungu since 1997, then achieved great success since the mid-2000s, Makki said his band never had riders who intended to complicate the work of others, especially when the personnel were young.

However, after taking part in the national music industry for more than two decades, Makki admitted that Ungu asked for business class flights if it appeared far from Jakarta.

Business class flight riders are related to the current age of Ungu personnel. However, the request also has its own exceptions.

"But yes, business class is not because of anything, if it flies over three hours, we are old, yes, tired," said the bassist.

"And it's also conditional, like yesterday from one point to another there is no business class, so the economy is okay."

For musicians or bands that have excessive riders, Makki reminded that the existence of promoters and event organizers is an important aspect in the survival of the musician's own career.

"My message is for anyone, not the young, not the old, if for example you try your work partner, your work will get a little less. That's all," he said.
