JAKARTA Bagus NTRL, or known as Ombags, has just released a music video for his latest song entitled Sendung Rindu. For his work this time he is working with Allan Soebakir as a director.
Allan is part of the Sinema Pinggiran visual collective, known for his touching and intimate documentary approach.
Departing from Ombags' initial idea to capture the everyday moments of people struggling on the street, this music video was later developed by Allan with a documentary observational approach.
Together with camerakeeper Theohanaz Radinoya, the shooting process was carried out live on the streets for two whole days, presenting a real landscape of urban life full of hard work, loneliness, and hope.
Created without many fabrications and settings, Senandung Rindu offers an honest visual portrait of longing. It can mean longing for home, for loved ones, or for a quieter life.
