BLACKPINK Will Introduce A New Song When Starting The Deadline World Tour

Two weeks before starting the Deadline World Tour in Goyang, South Korea, BLACKPINK sent a strong signal that the release of a new song marked their comeback after two years and eight months.

YG Entertainment, which still houses BLACKPINK, announced that Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will release their new song for the first time when they start their world tour at the Main Stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex on July 5.

"There was a lot of discussion about how to release this new song, and we decided to first reveal it at the Goyang concert, which is the starting point of the 'DEADLINE' tour where we will reunite with fans," reads YG Entertainment's statement, quoted by Naver, Wednesday, June 25.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's new song is a big wait for the fans, even though the schedule, title, and concept are still kept secret.

The curiosity peaked after the main producer, Yang Hyun Suk, made an official announcement regarding their close comeback and news about filming a music video with a well-known director.

"We will soon announce more information about the official release date," the agency added.

Meanwhile, Deadline World Tour is a big celebration for fans around the world. They will tour dozens of cities in North America, Europe, and the UK, as well as Asia.

Different from the previous tour, this time BLACKPINK returned after the members managed to show themselves as successful soloists.

BLACKPINK will also greet fans in Indonesia through two performances at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Central Jakarta on November 1 and 2.

iMe Entertainment as the promoter has also officially sold tickets through tiket.com. There are eight categories available, with prices ranging from IDR 1,450,000 to IDR 3,800,000.
