Taylor Swift Cancels Entire 2020 Schedule

JAKARTA - It seems that Swifties (as Taylor Swift fans) have to be patient to be able to see their idol's appearance again. Because, the Lover singer wrote via Twitter that he canceled all his schedules for 2020, both his concerts and appearances at the Glastonbury festival.

The decision was made because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has not subsided. Realizing this, Swift began to do something in an effort to break the chain of spread of the virus that is sweeping the world.

Taylor Swift wrote the tweet with sentences; "I'll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what's most important is to commit to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us."

Swift's courage to cancel her entire schedule throughout the year is new in the music industry. Most artists choose to postpone and move schedules in the fourth half of 2020.

In fact, the voice actor for Cats is scheduled to hold a Lover Fest from July 3 to August 1. Lover Fest is a festival as well as a concert to promote Swift's seventh album, Lover. The plan, Lover Fest will visit North America and Europe.

However, behind the cancellation of the concert, Swift promised new dates for Brazil and the United States in 2021.
