JAKARTA - Sad news came from the entertainment world in the country. Irianti Erningpraja, the songwriters and actresses died at the age of 59 years.

Music observer Stanley Tulung has confirmed the news. Through an upload on Instagram, he said the deceased breathed his last at the hospital.

Stanley said the late Irianti died surrounded by her husband, children, and some of her closest friends.

It was also informed that the body of the deceased was buried at the family residence in West Pejaten, South Jakarta.

Condolences for the death of Irianti also came from several great singers and musicians in a similar era.

Nicky Astria, through her Instagram account, uploaded a young photo of Irianti and expressed her sorrow in the description of the upload.

For information, Irianti Erningpraja was born in Jakarta on November 18, 1965. She is the daughter of Raden Maria Erningpraja, Minister of Labor (Tenaga Kerja) during President Soekarno's administration.

From an early age, Irianti showed talent in swimming. He started competing and won various medals in national and international championships.

However, his swimming career was stopped due to sinusitis when he was in junior high school. Furthermore, Irianti joined the dance group Swara Maharddhika led by Guruh Soekarnoputra, where she appeared as a professional dancer at various performances, both at home and abroad.

In 1983, Itianti began writing songs and won the National Pop Song Festival with songs sung by Vina Panduwinata. Since then, he has been active as a songwriter and singer, working with various well-known musicians such as Vina Panduwinata, Titi DJ, and Indra Lesmana.
