Laufey has announced that its third studio album will be released on August 22, via Vingolf Recordings/EARLY.

Through the official Instagram account, the 26-year-old singer also showed a cover for the album 'A Matter Of Time' featuring herself lying on her feet raised and in the background of an clock.

"I've taken my daily book and turned it into a song album, dive into the whole range of emotions from beautiful to bad experienced by someone when life and love are revealed over time," Laufey wrote of his new album in the caption. upload.

At the same time, Laufey also introduced the latest single which is also the material for the third studio album with the title 'Tough Luck'.

"I want to reveal the more angry side of me on the side of this unlucky relationship in me," Laufey said of his new single, through a press release quoted by NME.

'Tough Luck' also followed the previous single, 'Silver Lining', which was released on April 3.

Meanwhile, the upcoming album contains 14 songs. With two singles that have been released earlier, there are still 12 other songs that have not been announced.

Regarding the remaining material in A Matter Of Time, Laufey doesn't really care about the preservation of jazz music heritage as he did in previous releases. This time, the Icelandese-Chinese singer wants to show her human side, with all her shortcomings.

"People expect beautiful appearances with feminine clothes, fantastic stories, and romantic music. This time, I'm interested in seeing how I can highlight my most flawed parts of myself and see them directly in the mirror," he said.
