JAKARTA - Coldplay surprised fans by announcing a new song titled Higher Power. This song will be released in May.
A global teaser distributed in poster form has graced various streets in several places since April 18th.
Via Alien Radio's Twitter, tweets containing hints of a new song began circulating. Videos of random sound compilation to pink Klingon language posters can also be found in several places.
Fans also managed to solve the clue but Coldplay did not answer anything. But Thursday, April 29th, Coldplay answered the mystery of the search.
"Higher Power 'is a song that hit keyboards and bathroom sinks in early 2020," Coldplay said on Twitter.
"This (song) was produced by Max Martin which is a miracle of the universe."
Launching its official website, Coldplay confirmed the rumors made by fans. "The band's fans managed to break down symbols such as letters to reveal the song title and release date."
Higher Power is Coldplay's newest release after releasing the album Everyday Life in 2019. This song can be listened to from May 7 both digitally and physically.
