JAKARTA - For Revenge, which has existed in the country's music industry for 19 years, is preparing for something new. The unit from Bandung will hold its first single concert, entitled 'The Derana', in Jakarta on 19 July.

This single concert, which is driven by Catarsis Live, will become an important inscription on the journey of For Revenge as well as providing maximum experience for fans, For Revenge Family.

Meanwhile, the title of the show was taken from one of the songs For Revenge entitled Derana. Philosophically, this song describes their ongoing spirit even though what has been passed for almost two decades has not been easy at all.

"On our way to music, we were hit by all kinds of problems, but we are still surviving. We are still there, we can even make a comeback," said For Revenge vocalist Boniex Noer, in his statement, Tuesday, May 6.

"Why in the end this 'drana' has been used as the title? Because actually the lyrics of 'Derana' describe For Revenge's DNA all this time. In addition, this is a message that we want to transmit a positive spirit at this concert. We present this concert for heartbroken survivors to rise from all adversitys," he added.

For the concept of the upcoming show, For Revenge wants viewers to have maximum experience in enjoying their works. A magnificent arrangement involving orchestras and choirs will be presented. In addition, some collaborators will also appear, such as the Magic Competition, Wira Nagara, Stand Here Alone, and several other names to be announced in the near future.

For Revenge will also perform more than 20 songs taken from their various release catalogs. Boniex said, "We will perform songs from the first album in 2009, and then from the second album in 2013, there are also our songs from the post-hardcore era. We will remake those old songs.

Through his first single concert, For Revenge hopes that the Derana will become a separate catalyst to heal wounds as a celebration of embracing and releasing pain.

We take the point of view from the three sides of human heartbreak. From the relationship between humans to the couple, family, and to God.
