Indies Holds First Showcase For Doves, 25 On Blank Canvas In Bali, March 22

JAKARTA - Baskara Putra alias Indies will feature its newest mixtape titled Doves, 25 on Blank Canvas in a showcase held at the Central Parking Monkey Forest, Ubud, Bali on March 22.

This show is the first moment the Indies and Blue Valley Radio (BVR) have presented a mixtape set list directly to their fans.

The choice of Bali as the location of the show was not without reason. Baskara felt that she always received a warm welcome when appearing there.

"Bali is one of the cities with always warm welcomes every time we visit," Baskara said in his statement, Monday, March 10.

In addition, Baskara admitted that a lot of material was 'Doves', '25 on Blank Canvas' inspired by the Island of the Gods.

"Music in Doves, 25 is also inspired by various music that was exposed to us when we spent a lot of time in Bali late last year due to various visits to perform and do activities," Baskara added.

This mixtape contains the freedom to explore Indian music, which includes merging guitar-based music as well as electronics, mixing Indonesian and English in lyrics, to responding and/or inserting the work of other musicians.
