Malyda Called Not Having A Serious History Of Diseases Before Death

JAKARTA - The country's music scene is grieving again. Rosmalida bint Kalimuda Harahap alias Malyda, a successful singer in the 1980s, died at the age of 61 on Tuesday, February 25 yesterday.

Music observer Stanley Tulung is one of the parties who participated in informing the news of the death of the singer 'All Become One'. He admitted that he received the sad news from a friend who was a cousin of the late Malyda's husband.

"I received minimal information, I only knew that I died at Medistra Hospital," Stanley Tulung told the media crew, Tuesday.

Based on the information obtained, Stanley said the late Malyda had no history of serious illness.

"According to information, there was no pain. So, (died in a state) suddenly," he said.

Stanley also admitted that he did not ask his friend in more detail. The reason is, the family is in a state of mourning with the death of the deceased.

"Until now, they have not received confirmation from their families, their husbands are still in shock, they are not holding cellphones," said Stanley.

Furthermore, Stanley said that he did not know Malyda personally, but admired her figure as a singer.

"Honestly, I don't know him, I only know he's a singer, likes the song. I've never met him, only I really love him because his voice is unique. That's why he lost it too," he said.

Meanwhile, Malyda became one of the pop stars in the 1980s, collaborating with many big names, such as Deddy Dhukun, Dodo Zakaria, Dian Pramana Putra, to Fariz RM.

The most famous song, Everything Becomes One, has been a hit that is still being heard and has been shown a lot to date. Some of the other songs that are well known are I'm Confused, Nurlela, and Never Change.
