J-Rocks Will Play A New Song When Appearing At SOUNDSFEST 2025

J-Rocks is one of the bands that will certainly appear in SOUNDSFEST 2025 which will be held for the first time in Jakarta. This music festival will be held at Gambir Expo, Kemayoran on May 23-25.

J-Rocks bassist, Swara Wimayoga alias Wima said the band will present new material in its appearance later. The reason is, J-Rocks plans several songs before the SOUNDSFEST.

"For Ramadan, we are really chasing a single, now we are mixing and mastering, hopefully we will catch up. But what is clear is that after Eid there is already one single that is ready to be released," Wima said at a press conference in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Friday, February 21.

"If the production has been several songs, we hope to catch up, at least once every two months. Chasing for productive, "he continued.

Wima also admitted that she was happy with J-Rocks' first involvement in SOUNDSFEST. For him, a big music festival is the right place to maintain J-Rocks' existence in the music industry.

"If you make a band our age, a festival like this is very much needed. Keeping an existence is easy and difficult, if at the festival the listeners are degenerate, so yes, we need big festivals like this," he said.

Meanwhile, Rayn Alvi Maharan as Festival Director of SOUNDSFEST said, the presence of this festival in Jakarta for the first time, was to provide a larger forum for Soundpeople to continue to work more widely.

"We feel this is the right time to bring SOUNDSFEST to Jakarta, with the aim of providing a wider experience for the audience, as well as providing a forum for the community to collaborate and work with us," Rayn said.

This event has also announced the lineup of performers as the first line-up, which includes Bernadya, DMasiv, Denny Caknan, Feel Koplo, For Revenge, J-Rocks, Juicy Luicy, Kahitna, Maliq & D Essentials, Nadin Amizah, Pamungkas, Sal Priadi, The Changcuters, to The Panturas.

Ryan Novianto said that the line-up selection still uses the same standards, namely the big names and the diversity of music.

"The DNA SOUNDSFEST always features top bands and singers, because we want to pamper the audience. The selected genres are also very diverse," said Rian.

Other names have also been announced to be on the line-up, such as Glenn Fredly Live by The Bakuucakar: Holographic Performance, Abdul & The Coffee Theory, Eleventwelfth, Feel Koplo, Rocket Aviation Group, Last Child, Morfem, Pee Wee Gaskin, Bronze, Hospital, The Jeblogs, and The Sigit,

Not only that, SOUNDSFEST will also present performers from abroad for the first time. The two names that have been confirmed to appear are a soloist from Thailand, Phum Viphurit and a British musician of Indian descent, Panjabi MC.
