Composter Association Asks All Parties To Respect Court Decisions Ari Bias And Agnez Mo

JAKARTA - The All-Indonesian Composite Association (AKSI) delivered a statement of attitude towards the decision of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court on the cases of Ari Bias and Agnez Mo.

Guitarist Padi Reborn, Piyu as the General Chair of ACTION stated that his party supports the decision made by the panel of judges.

"AKSI strongly agrees with this court's decision, and urges all parties and the public to respect this as a legal legal product," Piyu said at a press conference in Fatmawati, South Jakarta, Monday, February 17.

Piyu said that the issue of the exclusive rights of a songwriter is something they are fighting for hard, since its formation in 2023.

"With the court's decision to win Ari Bias as the creator of this song, making the issue of royalty reach its test and opening our eyes to all of us, that copyright matters are not small and not trivial matters," said Piyu.

"And have taught us all a valuable lesson for how copyright should be appreciated and the rights of its creators are fulfilled," he continued.

How the ACTION respects the decision of the first instance court, said Piyu, his party also respects the legal action taken by Agnez Mo.

"And we also respect Agnez Mo's cassation efforts and his legal team," he said.

Piyu also expressed the hope of ACTION, so that the problems between Ari Bias and Agnez Mo could be a lesson in fighting for the welfare of the songwriter.

"Finally, thank you for the support and attention of the entire wider community for this problem. This makes us enthusiastic to continue to fight for the rights and welfare of songwriters in Indonesia," he concluded.
