JAKARTA - A veteran California rock band, Primus has announced a new drummer. John Hoffman was appointed as a replacement for Alexander's "Herb" Team who left the band suddenly in October last year.
Meanwhile, Hoffman was elected as a new tempo guard in Primus, through a global audition that was held open some time ago.
Through Instagram, Les Claypool (main vocal, bass) uploaded a photo of himself with the drummer and also Larry Lalonde (guitar, vocals).

Hoffman himself is a drummer from Louisiana, United States. He documented his preparations for auditions via YouTube.
"The luck is when preparations meet with opportunities," Hoffman wrote in the caption of the post some time ago.
