Prone To Bot And Reseller Accounts, Oasis Fans Annoyed That Their Concert Tickets Were Canceled Unilaterally

JAKARTA - The Oasis reunion concert is still marked by problems related to tickets. Recently, several fans admitted that their tickets were canceled unilaterally by the concert ticket provider.

Ticketmaster as the ticketing platform is reported to have canceled thousands of tickets to the band concert of the Gallagher brothers. The cancellation was in the name of resistance to bot accounts and resellers.

Launching Billboard on February 10, no less than 50 thousand tickets have been resold through a third-party platform. The move to apply dynamical prices was also unable to stem the cheating of rogue elements.

Unfortunately, some fans admitted that they were also victims of the ticket cancellation. Ticketmaster canceled the purchase on suspicion of being bought through a bot account which violated the rules.

"This provision was specifically made to limit ticket resales on illegal ticket sales platforms for profit. Fans have been strongly advised by all parties not to buy tickets from illegal resale sites, to protect them from fraud or refunds," Ticketmaster wrote.

Fans express the frustration of those who are victims of wrong ticket cancellation on social media.

"The year 2025 can't be any worse than this, now I don't even have anything to look forward to," the fan tweeted on platform X.

Fortunately, Ticketmaster heard the complaint. On Oasis ticket refund's FAQ page, they asked fans to report if the tickets purchased were legally affected by this cancellation.
