The Reason Why Putri Ariani Holds a Showcase in the United States for Her New Album

JAKARTA - Putri Ariani, who launched her first studio album titled "Evolve" last November, held a showcase in two locations in the United States (US), Los Angeles (LA) and Las Vegas.

For the 18-year-old singer-songwriter, holding a showcase in the US has its own meaning, which is related to her participation in the America's Got Talent event in 2023.

"Actually, it's for historical reasons, like a gateway for Putri to be known again by the wider community," said Putri Ariani to the media crew at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta recently.

"And for Putri's international career, it started from America's Got Talent in LA, so Putri wants to go back there to say thank you to everyone who supported Putri there," she continued.

Putri did not deny that she was trying to introduce her works further to English-speaking music listeners. Therefore, most of the songs on her album are in English.

"That's right, that's why there are a lot of songs in English," she said.

Putri is aware that breaking into the world music market is not an easy job. But learning from her experience, she prefers to focus on continuing to create, while waiting for the results to come.

"There will definitely be struggles, but for Putri, the important thing is to try first, release a song first, because 'Loneliness' alone took two years to get a path from America's Got Talent," said Putri.

"Every song must have a path, bismillah, and the important thing is that Putri also needs support from all her friends," she concluded.
