Salma Salsabil's Bunga Hati Blooms at the Peak Night of the 27th AMI Awards

JAKARTA - Salma Salsabil's single entitled "Bunga Hati" became the most awarded work at the peak night of the 27th Indonesian Music Awards (AMI) held at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4.

"Bunga Hati" was selected as the Best Production Work, which put it on par with other previously awarded hits, including "Monokrom" by Tulus, "Kali Kedua" by Raisa, "Separuh Aku" by NOAH, "Karena Ku Sanggup" by Agnes Monica, "Laskar Pelangi" by Nidji, "Andai Ku Tahu" by Ungu, and "Cobalah Untuk Setia" by Krisdayanti.

Salma Salsabil also won her first AMI trophy for this song. She was selected as the Best Pop Female Solo Artist, beating Bernadya, Lyodra, Mahalini, Nadin Amizah, Raisa, and Tiara Andini.

In her victory speech, Salma could not hide her happiness. She also thanked all those who had supported her.

"Assalamualaikum, good evening, thank God, today is an extraordinary day for me, and this year I am still nervous," she said.

“Thank you to my father and mother, to Universal, to Star Media Nusantara. Thank you to Salmine, this is for everyone who has supported me. Thank You."

Not only for Salma, “Bunga Hati” also gave two trophies to S/EEK, a music producer collective consisting of Marco Steffiano, Adrian Rahmat Purwanto, Jessilardus Mates, and Josh Kunze. They took home trophies for the Best Pop Music Arranger and Best Recording Producer categories.

In addition, “Bunga Hati” also gave victory to Dimas Pradipta in the Best Sound Production Team category. He was ahead of several other names, such as Eka Gustiwana, Dhandy Annora, Eko Sulistyo, Bennytho Siahaan, Osvaldorio, Stevano, and Wawaz Akasah.

However, it is very unfortunate that “Bunga Hati” was unable to give victory to its creator. Clara Riva had to hand over the Best Pop Songwriter category to Bernadya and Petra Sihombing who wrote the song Untungnya, "Hidup Harus Tetap Berjalan".
